Today’s full ruling from U.S. District Court Judge Ken Curry restoring the eligibility of Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby, who is now set to serve a two-game suspension and play a final year of college football rather than enter the NFL supplemental draft.

If it stands, the precedent set by the Lubbock County district court in the Brendan Sorsby case seems pretty ominous for the integrity of the games.

The alteration allowed the Rams to onboard Myles and his record-setting deal, pushing back the vesting dates of his guarantees by a few months.

The Rams and star edge Myles Garrett did not agree on a new deal. Instead, they did rework the contract that pays him $204M over 5 years – essentially what he was making. The average per year and term remain the same as his deal was in Cleveland.

Generally, I think an age-31 RB with significant wear wouldn't interest the Packers. But even if you could guarantee MarShawn Lloyd stays healthy, the backfield needs more.
